Today’s feast Corpus Christi – The Body and Blood of Christ.                                                                                                                                           
Today and everyday, God gives us the Body and Blood of Jesus to be our nourishment on the journey of life.  Today we celebrate the wonderful gift of the Eucharist.                                                                                                                                                                                                          
Adoration:  We have the great gift of Adoration every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am – 9pm.  This prayer brings many  graces and blessings to all of us.  We thank all those who give an hour each week to adoration.  We could do with more volunteers.                        
First Friday:  Friday next is also the first Friday.  Usual calls on Thursday and Friday.  Confession Thursday at 7pm.                                                 
Feasts this week: 
Tuesday 31st May:  The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth and gives us her song of praise to God call “the Magnificat”
Wednesday June 1st:  St. Justin martyr – a second century saint.  Its wonderful to have his accent of Baptism and the Sunday Eucharist.
Friday 3rd:  The Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Today the church celebrates the immense love of God for us which we find in the life death and resurrection of Jesus.  Copies of Novena to Sacred Heart at the church porches.

A sheet with prayers that you may find helpful will be available after each Mass this weekend..  Remember that during our first Evening Session, Tuesday 8pm June 7th, we will pray especially for all our young people who are about to begin their exams.

Our Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, 27th May – 1st June.  We pray for all who are sickk.  We ask Mary to comfort them.
